PHO Performance Programme (PPP)

The PHO Performance Programme (PPP) is a quality improvement programme focused on improving the health of enrolled populations and reducing health inequalities through supporting clinical governance and continuous quality improvement processes with PHOs and Providers. The PPP is overseen by the Governance Group which is a three way equal partnership between PHOs, organised general practice and DHBs/MoH, with each group having four representatives. The four PHO representatives are nominated by the National PHO Collective and are currently: Michael Lamont (Chair and CE Mangere Health Trust); John Macaskill-Smith (CE Pinnacle Group); Fiona Osten (Nursing Leader, SECPHO) and Dr Matire Harwood (Clinical Director, Tamaki Healthcare PHO).

The PPP is managed by DHBNZ. Click on this link to access background information and the key documents associated with this Programme.

Both groups meet up to four times a year to fit with planning and implementation requirements.
