Currently the PHO Alliance has 21 PHO Members, ranging in size from 6000 to 340,000 enrollees with a good urban and rural spread. Collectively Members provide primary health care services to just under 3 million New Zealanders.
The Chairs meet quarterly in Wellington for a full day to discuss a range of strategic issues, seek opportunity for input into policy development including engagement with senior health professionals, community representatives and politicians and importantly to share information and experiences.
